GPRS / 3G / 4G Cellular Module
The AetherLink Cellular Module provides a plug-in communications path between a compatible smart meter and a mobile network. The range includes configurations supporting GPRS, 3G or 4G, with multi-mode combinations dependent on the selected module. Functions include cellular data communication, SMS transmission and reception, and remote upgrade support. Selection must account for the required network technologies, operating bands, host firmware and destination-market operator. The generations listed for the range do not mean that every delivered module supports all technologies or all networks.
