Wi-SUN Module
The AetherLink Wi-SUN Module provides a plug-in wireless communications option for compatible smart meters and IoT field devices. Its communications functions include frequency hopping, automatic network recovery and remote upgrade support. These functions support the operation and maintenance of distributed field networks as radio conditions and network membership change. The applicable Wi-SUN profile, operating band and host interface must be matched to the gateway and regional deployment. Product selection should therefore be based on the complete communications configuration, rather than the enclosure or antenna appearance alone.
